GMB carry out a social experiment over littering in the UK
Correspondent Jonathan Swain was left red-faced while he was carrying out a social experiment about litter and ended up getting severely told off by a member of the public.
The broadcaster was seen throwing a crisp packet on the floor in the middle of a well-to-do London street to gauge reactions from passersby.
It looked like Jonathan got quite a response from one person, who called him back seconds after he threw the offending item onto the pavement.
Jonathan returned and asked him: "You think I should pick it up?" The seemingly angry man then responded: "Yes, I think you should!"

When she asked one man why he had not scolded her, he explained: "I didn’t want a confrontation."
The social experiment comes after the show conducted a poll on littering and found that over 76 per cent of people agree that while it is a problem, only 63 per cent will pick up rubbish themselves.
Their findings come as Keep Britain Tidy kicks off its Great British Spring Clean, which runs until March 5.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
