Chris Shaw: People are 'playing down' the Oscars 'fiasco'
Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid could be seen discussing the disastrous mix-up which saw La La Land named Best Picture instead of Moonlight at Sunday night's ceremony and viewers were furious.
The presenters both talked about the awkward moment before speaking to Chris Shaw and Martha Kearney, who were in the audience at the star-studded event.
Chris said that it took a long time before the mistake was rectified, explaining: "It went on for ages. There were two or three speeches before they corrected themselves."
He added: "From a slightly cynical British perspective, we just thought the whole thing was entertaining and surreal."

Gonna have to turn over to @BBCOne now #GMB is dragging this out
And, while Piers and Susanna were tickled by the interview, people at home were so infuriated by the drawn out coverage that they threatened to switch channels to watch BBC Breakfast instead.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Gonna have to turn over to @BBCOne now #GMB is dragging this out. No one cared yesterday, never mind today."
Another added: "#gmb still waffling on about the Oscars mistake! Is there nothing else to talk about?! It dominated most of yday's GMB too switched over.(sic)"
"@GMB ok that's enough I'm switching over #Oscars #GMB #getoverit #wedont care," a third shared.
