The Walking Dead season 7: It's all smiles for Rick as Daryl is armed again in epic new trailer
After a dramatic and tense first half which saw the shocking deaths of Glenn and Abraham, it looks like fans will have an action-packed eight episodes to sink their teeth into.
The biggest revelation comes from the much-awaited reunion between fan-favourite, Daryl Dixon (played by Norman Reedus), and his beloved crossbow.
After being locked up by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), it looks like Daryl is already out for revenge.
It is also good news for fans of Eugene (Josh McDermitt) as it appears he is well and good after being taken by The Saviours at the end of the first half of the season.

It's not about us anymore; it's about a future.
In the trailer, the unlikely hero can be seen eating and waving a flame-thrower around, which was more than Daryl was allowed to do during his captivity.
The new trailer also gives fans a glimpse of Carol (Melissa McBride) back in action again.
The former housewife was last seen being convinced to help Morgan (Lennie James) and The Kingdom seek revenge against Negan.
But having taken a personal vow to not kill any more, it seems that Morgan managed to win his friend round as Carol can be seen sporting a gun.

Season seven will see the introduction of a new style of zombie
It's all smiles for Rick and Michonne... but will it last?
Fans are also shown a tantalising glimpse of a strange-looking zombie monster, covered in metal spikes.
In general, it seems like it's all smiles for the Alexandrians with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) who share a joke at the end.
However, Rick's voiceover hints that war will come at a price for his gang, teasing: "It's not about us anymore; it's about a future."
