GRAHAM NORTON was heard calling for assistance on Let It Shine tonight as a prospective boy band member fell ill.

This evening’s show saw a few of the hopefuls sing and dance with pop star Olly Murs.
After the performance, host Graham told the audience that 19-year-old Sario Solomon had been unwell during the week.
“I couldn’t tell from the performance but apparently you had some throat problems today?” the Irish presenter asked.
Sounding very ill, Sario replied “yeah” with a heavy growl.

Medic! Medic!
Surprised by the sound of his voice, the judges and audience began to laugh as Graham yelled theatrically: “Medic! Medic!”
The aspiring singer revealed he was suffering from a double medley of tonsillitis and laryngitis.
“Just in the past couple of days a sore throat turned into tonsillitis, laryngitis, the full-blown everything," he explained.

Despite his ailment, Sario managed to make it through to the next round of the competition.
Next week will see the remaining contestant put into five bands to perform live for the first time.
