Danny Dyer SLAMS EastEnders co-stars Adam Woodyatt and Steve McFadden
HIS EastEnders co-star Adam Woodyatt may have been in the soap for over 30 years, but that hasn't stopped Danny Dyer from having a pop at him.
Danny Dyer has slammed his EastEnders co-stars
The 39-year-old actor has criticised Adam, who plays Ian Beale, for only ever auditioning for one role throughout his career.
Speaking in an interview with Radio Times, the cockney star said: "Adam Woodyatt [Ian Beale] has played one role. No disrespect to Adam, but that's not an actor. He's very, very efficient, but he's auditioned once in his whole career. And acting's about auditioning.
"And Steve McFadden [Phil Mitchell], brilliant - but only ever played one role."
Brought up in Canning Town, Danny won eight awards in his first year of appearing as The Queen Vic’s pub-landlord Mick Carter, and now has a high opinion of the show and his talents.

I had no money. I couldn’t work. I was on my a***, but the show was on its a***, so it was a perfect marriage
He continued: "Doing soap is the hardest discipline there is. I'd love to see a snotty-nosed actor who says, 'I'm too good for this,’ come in and be exposed.”
He singled out top actor, Benedict Cumberbatch and said he “would be useless” starring in a soap as well as Idris Elba.
“No one can do Danny Dyer like I can do Danny Dyer,” he added.
Danny also revealed that the show has saved his career.
The British actor said bosses approached him and said: “We want you to save EastEnders.” But it came at the right time in Danny’s life as he had constantly come under scrutiny by TV critics who slated most of his acting work.

Steve McFadden (Phil Mitchell) was also in Dyer's line of fire
“I had no money. I couldn’t work. I was on my a***, but the show was on its a***, so it was a perfect marriage,” he explained.
The National Television Awards winner also spoke of the “working-class sort of slum” he grew up in and said it was a “dangerous” area.
But worlds away from the disadvantaged part of London, Danny found out he is a direct descendant of the Royal Family when he appeared on the new series of Who Do You Think You Are?.
He discovered he is related to two Kings of England, William the Conqueror and Edward III.
