Emmerdale: Will heartbroken Charity Dingle drive off a cliff after being dumped by Cain?
EMMERDALE could be about to lose another beloved hero as during tonight’s instalment of the ITV soap a heartbroken Charity Dingle threatened to herself drive off a cliff.
Emmerdale: SHOCK ending as Charity may drive off cliff
The long-suffering character was stood up by a torn Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), after he bumped Charity (Emma Atkins) for the love of his life Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb).
Charity and Cain packed their bags, said their goodbyes and hit the road to start a new life in France. However, just miles away from the Yorkshire Dales, their journey came to an abrupt halt as Cain admitted: “I can’t do this.”
“Are you kidding?” Charity shrieked. “You better be. I’ve just packed up my whole life!”
Sadly, the joke was on her as Cain grabbed his luggage and embarked on the long walk home. Though, he didn’t quite get the reception he was gunning for.

I can’t do this
“What are you doing back?” Moira gasped, after saying her farewells to Cain just moments before.
“I was wrong, about everything, and Holly,” he admitted. “I should have got it. I should have helped more. And I was wrong about us. I didn’t fight for you, I just took the easy way out.”
But Moira raged: “No. I’m sorry, I’m not having this.”
Elsewhere on Emmerdale, a hysterical Charity lined herself up to become the third resident of Emmerdale to perish in a matter of weeks by ominously steering her car towards a mountain edge. But will she hit the accelerator?

Regardless, it seems Cain will only have time to eat a slice of his proverbial cake, as Emma Barton (Gillian Kearney) is plotting to frame the lothario for James Barton’s murder.
Last week Emma, dressed in her blood-soaked wedding dress, hurled her husband off a nearby bridge on to Ashley Thomas’ car, causing a devastating pile up on the highway.
The scenes, which saw several lives hang in the balance, were tipped as the biggest stunts in UK television history and paid off for the ITV soap as its viewing figures soared to an eight-month high.
Emmerdale continues tomorrow night at 8pm on ITV.
