THE GOOD WIFE'S as-yet-untitled new spin-off series has added British actress Rose Leslie to its impressive cast list.

The former Game of Thrones and Luther star is only the fourth person to be confirmed for the cast, and the first to be playing an all-new character.
She plays Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo and Sarah Steele, reprising their roles as Diane Lockhart, Lucca Quinn and Marissa Gold respectively.
“We’re thrilled to have Rose on board,” said executive producers Robert and Michelle King.
“We needed a young actress who could hold her own with Christine Baranski and Cush Jumbo, and Rose is perfect. She’s real, she’s strong and she can play comedy.

"If we designed an actress from the ground up, we couldn’t have done better.”
The show, which will be a streaming exclusive in 2017, will pick up one year after the end of The Good Wife and see the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia (Leslie) in tatters after a huge financial scam.
The hoax also damages her mentor Diane's savings, so the pair of them join Lucca Quinn at another law firm.
The Good Wife officially wrapped up earlier this year after seven hugely acclaimed seasons with Julianna Margulies at the helm as the titular Alicia Florrick.
Rose played Ygritte on Game Of Thrones until 2014
Rose, 29, has had an impressive career already, having made waves as Ygritte in 17 episodes of Game of Thrones.
She also played DS Emma Lane in 2015's Luther and was in Downton Abbey as Gwen Dawson.
The 10-episode long new drama will commence in February next year on CBS All Access.
