Ben Shephard nearly TRIPS UP dog trainer in the middle of trick routine live on GMB
DISASTER was very narrowly avoided on Good Morning Britain today when Ben Shephard almost tripped up a dog trainer in the middle of a fast-paced routine.
Dog trainer trips over kneeling Ben Shepherd on GMB
The broadcaster, 41, was overseeing the trainer and her dog's attempts to perform as many tricks as possible in one minute, and at one point had to kneel on the floor so the pooch could perform a handstand up his back.
However, the trainer didn't see him take up his position and, whilst working on other tricks, walked backwards, tripped on Ben's feet, and came perilously close to falling over.
Mortified, Ben moved further away as she asked: "Are you all right?"
Thankfully the impressive routine continued, with more than 30 tricks being performed in the 60-second window.

Ben got into position perhaps a little early
Earlier, Ben's co-host Susanna Reid had revealed that Ben has formerly held as many as four Guinness World Records.
"In 2010 Ben set the record for smashing the most pumpkins in a minute," she said dryly, as Kate Garraway could be heard laughing off-camera.
When he pointed out that he has held four, Susanna added: "One of them was in 2008 when he held the World Record for the highest reverse bungee jump.
"But he was beaten two years later by Mr Baywatch himself, David Hasselhoff."
Susanna Reid was also impressed
"I had the air guitar record as well," Ben proudly added, with pancake flipping also being among his achievements.
The duo were poring over the new Guinness World Records book because a 104-year-old man called Jack - who appeared on the show earlier this year - has entered the tome after becoming the oldest man ever to get a tattoo.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
