REMAINER Anna Soubry came under fire from Good Morning Britain's Ranvir Singh this morning as the host accused the anti-Brexiter of "trying to stay relevant".

Soubry appeared on the early morning news show to explain which direction she hopes to steer the country in in the wake of Britain's decision to leave the European Union, while also accusing those at the forefront of the Leave campaign of burying their heads in the sand.
However, Singh, 39, interrupted to dig up Secretary of State David Davis, who has been particularly vocal with his aspirations to "curb" immigration.
"You're just repeating what they're saying," Singh fumed at the anxious Tory MP. "Is this how you're hoping to stay relevant after losing the argument?"
"Not at all," Soubry hit back. "We want to be single member of market, I'm not quite sure David Davis wants to curb immigration in a way that would be good for business."

She added: "The current system doesn't seem fair and that's why we want to mend it - not end it - while people like David want to end free movement of labour."
Sadly for Soubry, the viewers at home almost universally sided with Singh and didn't hesitate to blast the politician on Twitter.
"Anna Soubry on GMB move on! Just trying to keep your name in the frame," wrote one disgruntled audience member, which was followed by: "Anna Soubry equals bandwaggon."

Someone else agreed: "Anna Soubry and the rest of her group need to accept the decision and move on."
And a fourth moaned: "Oh god, it's that awful Anna Soubry on @GMB Not what you need 1st thing in the morning."
