The Fall series 3: First look at Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan in new season
THE FALL will soon be back for its third and final season, and a first glimpse at its new episodes has finally been unveiled.
The Fall is back later this year
Posting to Twitter, the show's official account unveiled first-look images at its lead stars Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan in action.
Anderson's Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson is seen with a lot on her mind as she makes a phone call, whilst Dornan's Paul Spector is covered in small cuts as he stands in what looks to be a tunnel.
The tweet read: "Gibson. Spector. Their final dance begins this autumn. Are you ready for the return of #TheFall?"
The Fall launched in 2013 and quickly became a huge cult hit; returning in late 2014 for its second run.

Fans will have been waiting for almost two years by the time its concluding chapter finally hits the air.
One person who won't be back, however, is former The Good Wife star Archie Panjabi; who revealed earlier this year that she's departed the series.
"Sadly, the schedules didn't work out with that, but I absolutely will be tuning in to watch it, as not only am I a fan of the show, I'm good friends with Gillian and very fond of Jamie [Dornan] and the team," she told Digital Spy.
"So I'm looking forward to that, which I think is out soon."
