Olivia Colman joins forces with Pam Ferris for We're Going On a Bear Hunt
OLIVIA COLMAN is set to lend her voice to the Channel 4 animated version of the children's story We're Going On a Bear Hunt.

The Broadchurch star will voice the mother in the story while Call the Midwife's Pam Ferris will take on the role of the grandmother.
Also joining the cast is Harry Potter star Mark Williams as the father who leads his family on a bear hunt.
Michael Rosen, who wrote the much-loved children's book, will play the bear in the television adaptation.
The bedtime story follows siblings Stan, Katie, Rosie, Max the baby and Rufus the dog as they face a number of obstacles while searching for bears with their parents.

Speaking about the adaptation, Olivia said: "What appealed to me about the story is the bond the family have - they care for, and look after, each other.
"Another wonderful aspect of the story is that it's kids enjoying a natal adventure with their imaginations, fresh air and the wilderness.
"I love that they commit to their adventure… I would like to go with them!"

The animation, which is being produced by the makers of The Snowman, is believed to be half an hour long and will air later this year.
