While he accepts her decision and leaves her, Charity Dingle thinks she should have given him a chance.
She later gets drunk in the Woolpack and has to be helped into the back to sleep it off and it becomes clear she is scared about more than her love life.
It's not until she is hit by her former lover James Barton that she finally reveals she may be pregnant with Gordon's child.

Emmerdale boss Iain MacLeod has previously teased Chas will have a difficult time dealing with recent events, which included finding out Gordon had abused her son Aaron.
Iain teased: "Chas has been Aaron's strongest support, but we finally get to explore what effect the Gordon story has had on her. The effects on her are going to be quite pronounced.
"We are going to open her heart and deal with some of the demons we haven't had a chance to exorcise in the story so far."
Emmerdale continues tonight on ITV1 at 7pm.
