The Fortune Hotel has been confirmed for a second series, but fans face a long wait to see the show back on their screens.

The Fortune Hotel: Lesley and Gary win the challenge

ITV's gripping reality game show The Fortune hotel, presented by Stephen Mangan, has been confirmed for a sensational second series.

The massively successful programme captured viewers' attention with its debut earlier this year.

Audiences are treated to the thrilling sight of ten pairs of contestants battling it out in the stunning setting of Grenada, all vying for a suitcase stuffed with a whopping £250,000. In this high-stakes game, deception is key as players swap and guard their suitcases, all while maintaining secrecy about their true contents.

Set against the backdrop of a luxurious Caribbean resort, the series is scheduled to resume production later this year, with a broadcast planned for ITV1 and ITVX come 2025.

With the first series peaking at an impressive 3.1 million views and amassing a staggering 5.9 million streams on ITVX, the show has firmly established itself as unmissable TV, reports the Daily Star.
