Morning Live's Gethin Jones shares show update

Gethin Jones has sent a supportive message to Jason Manford after it was announced the comedian would be replacing the Welsh presenter on BBC Morning Live. Bosses confirmed the 43-year-old would be making his debut on Friday, June 28.

Jason will share the screen with Gaby Roslin inititally, before returning to the programme on Wednesday, July 3 for another presenting stint alongside Helen Skelton. Jason confirmed the news earlier this week and told viewers to expect a "little chaos" from his presenting gig.

He said: "I'm delighted to have been asked to guest co-host Morning Live this week. I always love supporting a Manchester-based show and every time I've been on as a guest, the team have always been a real pleasure to work with."
