The Mole is making a comeback but who is set to star in the second outing of the deceptive game show?

Netflix is preparing to release some of its best loved reality shows from Love Is Blind and Too Hot To Handle, to Perfect Match and now The Mole.

It has been almost two years since the game show was last seen for series one and now 12 new contestants are being invited to take part.

Much like the first series which debuted in 2022, the players will work together on challenges to add money to their collective prize pot which only one of them will win by the end of the show.

However, there is The Mole lurking among them, sabotaging their efforts whenever they see fit but who could it be?

Who stars in The Mole season 2?

Deanna

Netflix true crime buffs will recognise Deanna Thompson as a web sleuth who starred in the 2019 docu-series Don’t F*** With Cats: Hunting An Internet Killer.

She states that she cannot possibly be the Mole given that she is a “terrible liar”.

“This isn't a low-key brag … I wish I was better”, Deanna admitted. “I don't know if it has something to do with being autistic, but always assumed that I lacked the nuance to do it well."

Michael

Michael O’Brien, 30, comments how he talks “way too much” to be the Mole.

When he isn’t appearing on Netflix reality shows, Michael works as a parking manager and model who plays in a gay flag football league who travels across the country for tournaments.

Muna

Software engineer Muna Abdulahi describes herself as a “detective at heart” who is also a spoken word poet who has spent time sailing around the world.

Jennifer

The Big Bang Theory fan and programme analyst Jennifer is also a PhDd student so loves everything in the realm of science and technology.

The 28-year-old says she cannot be the Mole as she is “too competitive and wouldn’t be able to throw challenges”.

Andy

The oldest contestant on The Mole for season two at 65-years-old is Andy Mintzer.

As an escape room enthusiast and forensic accountant, Andy loves searching for clues and believes the most fun part of this game are the missions.

Hannah

On the other end of the spectrum age wise is 23-year-old Hannah Burns who is there to “win the whole pot”.

She works as a marketing consultant and is a student pilot.

Melissa

Melissa Lummus, 34, is a poker player as well as a competitive pinball player who competed in more than 75 tournaments last year.

Despite having plenty of practice when it comes to putting on her game face, Melissa says she tends to be very open about how she’s feeling.

"This game is a marathon — not a sprint — so I'm much more interested in unearthing the truth than in hiding it."

Quaylyn

Bus driver Quaylyn says he is “too honest” to be the Mole with the 41-year-old instead preferring to mess around.

Quaylyn also has a love of tornadoes and aspies to chase a tornado one day.

Neesh

Marketer and video creator Neesh Riaz is also the host of Rukus Avenue Radio on iHeart Radio so has plenty of confidence when it comes to talking.

The 30-year-old states that “lying isn’t in my genes”, but could Neesh still be the Mole?

Ryan

Volleyball coach Ryan Warner calls herself a “team player” and is determined to take home the “biggest prize” at the end of the show.

Ryan, 33, married her high school sweetheart and shares four children with him.

Tony

Tony Castellanos is a VIP host who spends a lot of time working out when he isn’t working.

Explaining why he wouldn’t want to be the Mole, the 24-year-old said: "Hiding my true intentions for that long sounds exhausting, and I don't have the mental stamina to keep that act up."

Sean

Sean, 42, is a retired undercover cop who is now a stay-at-home dad.

He says he’s on the show to "compete for my family and win cash. I don't have what it takes to sabotage or ruin people's chances of winning money."

The Mole season 2 is available to watch on Netflix.
