Lady Jane Grey - Emily Bader
Relative newcomer Emily Bader steps into the role of Lady Jane Grey, the infamous ‘Nine Days’ Queen, in this fresh spin on history.
This is her first major leading role for a TV series having previously broken into the mainstream with her main role in the horror film Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin.
She has also starred in five episodes of 2022’s Charmed reboot and landed a main role in the indie drama Fresh Kills, the directorial debut of actress Jennifer Esposito.
My Lady Jane’s showrunners Gemma Burgess and Meredith Glynn revealed exclusively to Express.co.uk that they had “difficulty” finding the perfect Jane before they discovered Emily living just “three blocks away” from Amazon Studios in Los Angeles.
Lord Guildford Dudley - Edward Bluemel
English star Edward Bluemel will be a familiar face for any fans of Sex Education on Netflix.
He portrays Jane’s reluctant husband Lord Guildford Dudley, a notorious rake who’s hiding some shocking secrets.
In the hit Netflix series, Edward portrays Sean, the troubled brother of Maeve Wiley (played by Emma Mackey), in five episodes.
He’s also known for main roles in A Discovery of Witches and Killing Eve and the Netflix film Persuasion. His upcoming projects include a TV adaptation of the bestselling novel Washington Black and BBC Two comedy We Might Regret This.
King Edward VI - Jordan Peters
Jordan Peters portrays the sickly King Edward VI, who was King of England from 1547 until his death in 1553.
He’s most recently known for appearing in the Paramount+ series The Flatshare, the Prime Video romance film After Ever Happy and in the main role of Neil in Everything I Know About Love on BBC One.
Jordan has also appeared in an episode of the hit series Call the Midwife and in two episodes of Gangs of London.

Princess Mary - Kate O’Flynn
The devious Princess Mary is yet another historical figure with her eye on the throne, stopping at nothing to keep Jane away from power.
Actress Kate O’Flynn embodies the villainous role, who, in real life, is best friends with Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey.
They starred together in The House of Special Purpose, and Kate has also appeared in Father Brown, Death in Paradise, and British comedies Everyone Else Burns and Henpocalypse!.
Lord Seymour - Dominic Cooper
Dominic Cooper has become a staple of British film and TV since his breakout role in 2005’s The History Boys.
He’s portraying Lord Seymour in the new Prime Video series, another schemer in the royal court in cahoots with the deranged Princess Mary (Kate O'Flynn).
Recently, he’s appeared in Hulu’s original action film The Princess and TV series The Gold. He also co-starred with Anna Chancellor in the AMC+ Western drama That Dirty Black Bag.

Rob Brydon is an extremely famous face amongst British TV viewers for his numerous comedy appearances, most notably as Uncle Bryn in Gavin & Stacey.
He’s also known for portraying a fictionalised version of himself opposite Steve Coogan in The Trip series and has been the host of Would I Lie to You? since 2009.

Iconic actor Jim Broadbent makes a guest appearance as the lecherous Duke of Leicester, who is out to marry one of Lady Frances’ young daughters.
