EastEnders: Whitney Dean leaves Walford
EastEnders returned to BBC One for another gripping instalment of its long-running drama, however, viewers were left distracted by Denise Fox (played by Diane Parish).
Albert Square’s resident hairdresser appeared to have taken the scissors to her own hair as she appeared on screens with a new bob.
Denise who is usually seen strutting the streets with long, flowing hair seemed to embrace a new lease of life after the traumatic discovery of Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) body.
As one of the famed six women who were behind the murderous storyline, she experienced intense paranoia and hallucinations which led to an episode of psychosis.
Although she didn’t kill Keanu, the realisation that her staple and easily identifiable ‘D’ necklace was accidentally buried with his corpse, landed her in a mental health facility.
While things have seemed to settle down for the long-standing character, viewers were pleased to see her debut a new look during Tuesday’s episode.
Taking to X with their reactions, @BovaryCee remarked: “Denise looks fabulous with her new summer cut!”
@BridgeStTroll echoed: “Holy f--king shit … And a new, upgraded D necklace.”
As @msdvna anticipated: “I can’t wait to catch up this week. She looks gooooood.” (sic)

@mcclunkeys added: “Obsessed with Denise's post-PTSD hair triumph #eastenders.”
As a sixth fan @richyj1504 posted: “Oh HELLO Denise! New hairdo! There’s a new Bobadette in town!”
The episode also marked the return of Denise’s sister Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) and her husband Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) following their stint working on a cruise ship.
