Piers Morgan’s Uncensored fans have slapped the title of “great actor” onto Kevin Spacey for his tell-all interview.
The House of Cards star has opened up to former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan on TalkTV’s Uncensored with the 90-minute conversation airing this evening, Tuesday, June 11.
The interview, which is available to watch via the show’s YouTube channel, delves into the sexual assault allegations, his reaction when the news broke and what life has been like for him in recent years.
He also opens up on his relationship with his parents, discussing how therapy led him to question why his mum didn’t step in to protect him from his neo-Nazi dad as a child.
Near the beginning of the interview, Morgan commented how Spacey was looking “emotional” with The Usual Suspects star appearing teary-eyed.
It didn’t take too long for the comments to flood in, with many people stating that they think his upset was for show.
One viewer said: “Sounds very rehearsed”, while another sarcastically stated: “Give him an Oscar.”
“Spacey is nailing this role of apologetic sincerity, bravo”, a third commented.
Someone else wrote: “Great actor, this is his best performance”, with a fourth agreeing: “This is too polished....bad acting.”

A fellow viewer added: “I would give him the Oscar right now, woooooooow.”
While speaking to Morgan, Spacey said that he had learned from his mistakes and confessed to being “handsy” in the past, and “pushing the boundaries”.
The 64-year-old stated he has also spoken to a “significant” number of men to personally apologise for his previous behaviour.

It isn’t just Spacey’s reputation that has been in tatters either because of the allegations.
He shared that this week, his house which he’s been living in since 2016 in Baltimore is being sold at auction as he can no longer “pay the bills”.
When questioned if he is facing bankruptcy, Spacey replied: “There’s been a couple of times where I thought I was going to file but we’ve managed to sort of dodge it, at least as of today.”
