Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were back for their usual Friday slot on This Morning.

TM: Ainsley Harriott thinks Alison Hammond called him 'daddy'

As Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary returned to host their usual Friday slot on This Morning, things took a flirty turn during Ainsley Harriott's cooking segment.

The TV chef, 67, joined the pair in the kitchen as he cooked up potato and chive scones with eggs. Towards the end of the segment, Ainsley mistakenly thought Alison, 49, referred to him as "daddy".

The ITV star was left red-faced after the awkward exchange and insisted she had actually called him "Sir" as she began laughing out loud and protested: "I didn't call you daddy."

Dermot jumped in and said: "That's a whole different context," as the camera then panned directly on Alison as she mouthed: "I didn't call him daddy."

Ainsley took it one step further by saying to Dermot, 51: "Two big fried eggs, you're a big daddy aren't you?," as they erupted into laughter again.
