The Chase viewers distracted from show as they spot ‘celebrity’ contestant
THE CHASE viewers couldn’t seem to focus on the ITV quiz today as they thought one contestant was rather familiar looking.

Bradley Walsh was on hand as usual to help a team of four try to win some money on the ITV contest.
But there was something about The Chase contestant Chris that fans couldn’t keep their eyes off of.
Viewers thought the primary school teacher bore a striking resemblance to someone they recognise.
Those watching at home rushed to Twitter to say they thought he looked a lot like football player John Arne Riise.
“Surprised to see John Arne Riise on The Chase,” one wrote.
“Shouldn't "John Arne Riise" be on the celeb version of #TheChase,” another joked.
A third questioned: “What is John Arne Riise doing on The Chase? #TheChase.”
“Is that John Arne Riise on #TheChase today or what?” A fourth mused.
While a fifth added: “Did John Arne Riise just get a football question wrong on The Chase.”
“The Liverpool millions have dried up for John Arne Riise #TheChase,” a sixth shared.
Chris put on a stellar performance in his cash builder and brought £8,000 back to the team.
He and fellow contestant Elsie were the only two to make it through to the Final Chase.
However, when they came up against Paul Sinha, he managed to catch the pair of them.
Unfortunately it meant both Chris and Elsie went home empty handed despite their best efforts.
Elsie attracted some attention of her own when viewers thought she was making faces at another contestant’s performance.
It came as last player Sophie got several questions wrong in her head-to-head.
“Elsie’s face #TheChase,” one fan wrote accompanied with laughing face emoji.
A second mused: “Haha Elsie’s look said it all #thechase.”
“Elsie ain't happy with Sophie! If looks could kill!! #TheChase,” a third exclaimed.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
