Who are the original cast of Cold Feet and where are they now?

The TV show made all cast members household names as they convincingly reflected real life from affairs to divorces while juggling children.

Comedy TV series Cold Feet made an instant impact on the nation's evenings thanks to its gripping storylines and a convincing cast.

The cast include James Nesbitt, Fay Ripley and Coronation Street star John Thomson who play out their lives as they struggle with real life issues including divorce, death, illness and depression.

The show first hit our screens in 1997 and ran through until 2003.

And for nearly all members of the programme, they have all gone on achieve great success in the industry and for some, their career have even taken them to Hollywood.

Here we take a look at the cast and where they are now.

James Nesbitt made his mark in the TV industry when he landed the role of Adam Williams in the comedy TV show.

And his success was reflected in the number of awards he received as he won the British Comedy Award for Best TV Comedy Actor back in 2000.

Since the show came to an end, James has achieved great success and was snapped up by TV producers as he took the lead in Murphy's Law and The Missing.

But he has also impressed those in America as he won a Golden Globe for his role in Jekyll and he also starred alongside Liam Neeson, in Five Minutes Of Heaven.

Hermione Norris played the role of publisher Karen Marsden in the comedy and she too has gone on to become a sought after name within the TV industry.

She earned a legion of fans for her role in the crime drama Wire In The Blood, starring opposite Robson Green.

She also starred in Spooks, Kingdom, Luther, Outcasts, In The Club and Doctor Who. Four years ago, she landed herself the role of Cate Walford in the popular show Two Worlds.

Following her appearances during the first three series of Cold Feet Fay went on explore other projects which included her role in the Green Eyed Monster, I Saw You and Stretford Wives.

Fay also went on to star alongside Doc Martin star Martin Clunes in Fungus the Bogeyman. which aired on CBBC. She also landed a role in the BBC drama Reggie Perrin.

But Fay then decided to venture into another area of TV as she fronted her own documentary on Channel 5 titled Suspects. As of last year she starred on Paul Sinha's TV Showdown as a team captain.

Helen Baxendale

Helen started to make waves internationally after she secured herself a gust appearance on Friends as Ross' girlfriend, as he desperately attempted to get over his true love Rachel.

Helen played the heartbroken Emily Waltham. However, after just 14 episodes her character was written out of the sitcom.

Helen also starred as Lorna Thompson in the BBC series Cuckoo, which also featured Hollywood star Taylor Lautner.

John Thomson

John spent five years playing the role of Pete but then decided to turn his back on the small screen to focus on theatre.

But he soon returned to TV after landing the role as Jesse Chadwick in Coronation Street. After leaving the soap, he is now set to return after Sean Wilson was shockingly axed from the show, having filmed with the cast over a few weeks.

So now, John will return as part of Helen Worth's exit storyline, after playing Gail Platt for 50 years.

He has also appeared in Waterloo Road and Casualty.

In 2021, he was also a contestant on The Masked Singer.

Robert Bathurst

Robert played Hermione's on-screen husband David Marsden on the popular comedy series and he too has also achieved success.

The actor has starred in Emma in 2009, The Pillars of the Earth, Wild At Heart and Dracula. He's also appeared in the period dram Downton Abbey as Sir Anthony Strallan

Most recently, he appeared in Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie.
