The Chase: ‘You’ve forgotten!’ Bradley Walsh aghast at shock link with contestant
THE CHASE host Bradley Walsh was seemingly left stunned on today’s show when one contestant revealed they had worked together before.
The Chase: Anne Hegerty dresses as Ginger Spice for festive show
It all unfolded on The Chase Celebrity Special as Jane Moore, Alex Beresford, Mark Ramprakash and Andi Osho tried to win money for their chosen charities.
But first they had to go up against Chaser Paul Sinha.
Andi was up first and Bradley Walsh was keen to ask the comedian about her varied career.
“Did you work behind the camera, producing or editing or something?” the ITV host asked.
I worked behind the cameras on a show that you were in
With a knowing look on her face, Andi retorted: “Not only did I work behind the cameras, I worked behind the cameras on a show that you were in and you have forgotten.
“Thanks very much.”
She continued: “Do you remember a little soap opera called Night and Day?”
“No!” a visibly stunned Bradley replied.
Andi then explained: “I was the post-production supervisor.”
While Bradley continued: “You were not! Shane Richie and I played brothers, the Dexter brothers. That’s amazing.”
Although Bradley couldn’t remember at first, it was clear it was all good humoured fun between the pair of them.
While Andi admitted she was nervous about being on the show and starting the questions, she put on a good performance.
She managed to take £7,000 into the final after beating the Sinnerman.
However, it wasn’t such good news for Mark, Alex and Jane who all got knocked out before the Final Chase.
Subsequently, it was down to Andi to win the cash.
In a very tense finale, Andi got a pushback in the last second which allowed her to storm to victory.
Bradley asked the Chaser: “The ski resort of St. Moritz is in which country?”
To which he incorrectly replied “France”.
Luckily Andi plumped for the right answer, which was Switzerland.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
