The Chase: Bradley Walsh SCREAMS at crew in Celebrity Specials disaster
THE CHASE: CELEBRITY SPECIALS aired on ITV tonight with Bradley Walsh hosting a repeat of this year's festive edition of the show. However, the presenter lost his temper after a show “blunder”.
The Chase: Bradley Walsh SHOUTS at Judy Murray
Tonight’s episode of The Chase was Christmas-themed and featured sports commentator John Inverdale, tennis coach Judy Murray, acting legend Bernard Cribbins and TV star Scarlett Moffatt.
In a Christmas twist, the show featured all five of the Chasers in one episode alongside Bradley Walsh.
The 58-year-old host broke down during a question, but show bosses carried on without him.
Bradley asked contestant Judy: “‘A young girl kills the first person she meets and then teams up with three strangers to kill again’ described which film?”
You can’t! What? No! I haven’t said the last one yet. Who pressed? Who pressed? Who pressed?
He then asked: “A, Into the Woods, B, The Wizard of Oz, C…”
At this point, Bradley worked himself up into a fit of giggles as the audience laughed at the struggling presenter.
The ITV sound team pressed on with the game, playing out the noise for both Judy and Jenny’s answers.
Shocked and annoyed that he had become an accessory to his own show, Bradley snapped at the crew off-camera.
He screamed: “You can’t! What? No! I haven’t said the last one yet. Who pressed? Who pressed? Who pressed?”
Chaser Jenny Ryan replied back: “You never were going to press it!
Bradley huffed: “Who pressed? I haven’t said C yet!”
He then turned to Judy and said: “You’ve picked ‘Into the Woods’ - it has got to be!
“It’s not going to be The Wizard of Oz, is it? Or Annie Get Your Gun.”
“Correct answer is… got to be Into the Woods,” as it was revealed to be The Wizard of Oz.
As Bradley and the audience shrieked, he sighed: “Well, I’m never watching that again!”
Judy teased: “I’ve always been quick off the mark,” as Bradley looked confused down the camera and continued on with the show.
Each chaser also caught the attention of viewers by dressing up in special outfits.
Jenny was dressed as Madonna, while Anne Hegerty dressed in Geri Halliwell’s iconic flag dress.
Paul Sinha was clad as Freddie Mercury, while Shaun Wallace arrived dressed as Elvis Presley.
Mark Labbett joined the show for the final round while dressed as Noddy Holder.
