Strictly Come Dancing 2019: Killing Eve star Jodie Comer speaks out on joining line-up
STRICTLY COME DANCING fans are already excited to know who could possibly be signing up for 2019, now Killing Eve star Jodie Comer has revealed her intentions with the show.
Strictly: Killing Eve star Jodie Comer appears in audience
Viewers went wild when they spotted the actress in the Strictly Come Dancing audience earlier this year.
But can fans expect to see Jodie, 25, on next year’s instalment of the BBC competition?
Jodie has spilled that she was approached by Strictly Come Dancing bosses to be on the show next year.
However, she quickly shot down the suggestion of her taking to the dance floor.
"They were like, ‘Maybe next year, Jodie?’ I was like, ‘Mmm, no, I don’t think so!’” Jodie revealed on The Two Shot Podcast.
"I’d embarrass myself, definitely!”
She added: "I went with my mum and my nan because my nan is a Strictly superfan.
“It was a once in a lifetime for her, so it was really fun."
Jodie would certainly have a lot of support behind her as she’s gained thousands of fans in her role as Villanelle.
Although the 2018 series has barely ended, rumours are already circulating for 2019.
Chris Evans even confirmed that he’d “said yes” to the show.
In an appearance on The One Show earlier in the month, Chris divulged all to Alex Jones and Matt Baker when they asked about the rumours.
"If rumours are to be believed you won't have time to do panto next year," began Alex.
She added: "Can you confirm or deny that you'll be on Strictly?"
"Well, I have said yes," Chris replied.
He went on: "Probably only because my wife would like to go every week.
"You'd know because you get a pair of tickets, don't you.”
Louis Theroux also got tongues wagging when he joked that he’d like to sign up.
He wrote: “Congrats, @StaceyDooley ! Me next! (JK).”
Strictly Come Dancing is expected to return to BBC One in 2019.
