Tonight’s instalment of Strictly come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two saw Neil return for his segment as Nell.
However, many of those tuning in have called for the segment to be axed as they branded it as “creepy”.
Neil took on the role of Nell, a world champion dancer.
Nell walked viewers through the steps to well-loved routine but it didn’t go down well with fans.
Many took to Twitter to hit out at Neil’s costume of a curly wig, red jumper and checked trouser.
Others simply weren’t impressed with the comedy element.
Commenting on social media, one viewer begged: “Just make that awful Neil Jones thing go away now and forever.”
A second continued: “Someone make this stop now #Strictly #itt @Mr_NJones #cringe.”
“Absolutely love @StrictlyITT but please can we stop with the Neil Jones bit its completely cringe,” a third shared.
Someone else added: “Oh ffs @StrictlyITT really, this creepy section again. Can @bbcstrictly please give @Mr_NJones a real job #ItTakesTwo.”

However, there were some who enjoyed the segment, with one commenting: “Loving Nell de Jaunes and his wonderful assistant! Thanks @Mr_NJones @giadalini #ItTakesTwo.”
Another added: “OMG I loved #NellDeJaunse on #ItTakesTwo - @Mr_NJones is a comedy genius!!!”
It came after Stacey Dooley and her professional partner Kevin Clifton reflected on their Salsa last week.
The pair were awarded 33 points but host Zoe Ball pointed out Darcey Bussell wanted Stacey to “keep her legs together”.
As the documentary-maker covered her face embarrassed, Kevin warned: “I’ve been saying it all week, ‘Stacey, keep your legs together.’”
“I can’t say how many people have asked me to close my legs,” Stacey chipped in.
“For some reason, I just won’t listen.
“But they are right, there are a couple of bits I could have been better.”
The pair will perform the Paso Doble tomorrow evening.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One at 6.50pm.
