Victoria Station LOCKDOWN: Rush hour chaos leaves hundreds of commuters stranded
COMMUTERS are locked out of Victoria Station in central London this evening as entrances have been closed.
Commuters are stuck outside Victoria Station this evening
Transport for London staff have restricted access to Victoria Station this evening causing chaos around the busy station.
Commuters have taken to social media to share pictures of the chaotic scene at the busy station.
The lockdown was caused by overcrowding on the underground following the breaking down of a Victoria Line train, according to Network Rall.

Police presence has been high around London following the Parsons Green terrorist attack last Friday.
One commuter said on Twitter: “Currently can’t get into Victoria Station. What’s going on?”
Victoria Station is one of the main commuter hubs in London
Workers in Holborn were evacuated at lunchtime today in a security scare.
The panic came as Leadenhall Market was evacuated amid reports officers shouting “get out” at shoppers.
