UK fashion retailer closing down shops forever - in business for 9 years

A UK fashion retailer has announced it will close down its stores in a heartfelt statement to customers.
Fashion label Kitri, founded in 2017, sold its products online and across M&S stores. However, "after nine incredible years" the owner has confirmed that the brand will be closing.

Haeni Kim annouced the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday, May 12, where she confirmed that the brand will be ceasing operations in the coming weeks.
Addressing customers and followers of the Instagram page as "friends", she wrote: "After nine incredible years, I'm sad to share that KITRI will be closing its doors in the coming weeks.
"This decision has no come easily. We explored every possible avenue, but ultimately this felt like the only responsible path forward.
"Building KITRI has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. What started as a small independent brand grew into something far bigger than I could have every imagined - worn and loved by women around the world, supported by an incredible community, and brought to life by an immensely talented team."
A number of shoppers shared their reactions to the closure in the comments section of the Instagram post. As reported by The Sun, one person saying they were “so devastated to read this”. Another customer wrote: “NOOOO!!!!! This breaks my heart”.
“Very sad to hear, but you should be proud of your achievement,” another Instagram user said. Another person agreed : “So sad to hear this. You’ve built something amazing and should be very proud of what you achieved.”
“Oh this has really got me, I’m so sorry to hear this. Thank you so much for all the joy you have brought us over the years, a forever favourite!” said one fan.
