THE Duke of Cambridge will meet military veterans as he spends the day focused on the work of organisations helping them find jobs after leaving the forces.

William will be introduced to veterans who have gone on to work in healthcare, as part of a scheme supported by the Royal Foundation of which he, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are patrons.

On a visit to Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital William will learn more about the Step Into Health programme, which helps ex-military personnel move into jobs in the NHS by providing placements in sectors including catering and administration.
