Prince Harryshared a glimpse of his recent work in Africa, posting a new picture from his impactful trip to Lesotho, where he focused on Sentebale’s efforts to support vulnerable children and young adults.

The image, showing Harry alongside local community members and Sentebale partners, was taken while Meghan Markle remained 10,000 miles away in California.

Today’s events saw the Duke of Sussex visiting the Leribe region, accompanied by Prince Seeiso of Lesotho and Dr. Sophie Chandauka MBE, Board Chair of Sentebale.

Together, they attended a series of initiatives aimed at improving the lives of children and young adults in the region.

Sentebale, the charity co-founded by Prince Harry in 2006, continues its vital work in delivering healthcare, education, and economic support to those in need.

The day began at the Pointmain Health Facility, where Harry met with doctors and clinicians deeply committed to improving healthcare access.

The Pointmain facility, supported by Sentebale, provides vital medical services to the local community, particularly young people.

The prince later spent time with adolescent girls and young women who have been participating in Sentebale’s Socio-economic Strengthening programs.

These young women proudly displayed their newfound skills in dressmaking and hairstyling, skills they’ve gained through vocational training designed to promote economic independence.

Next, the Duke of Sussex visited Matlameng – Ha Mahlehle, where he explored a climate resilience project alongside Prince Seeiso and Dr. Chandauka.

The project, an example of how the community is taking action against climate change, featured storytelling and cultural performances that highlighted the resilience and heritage of the local population.

Throughout the day, Harry collaborated with local communities, healthcare providers, and international partners.

He said during the visit: "It’s remarkable to see what happens when people come together, determined to make a difference."

The Duke of Sussex expressed his admiration for the dedication of those involved in Sentebale's work and reiterated his commitment to supporting the children and young people of Lesotho and Botswana.

The image shared by Prince Harry, depicting his interactions with the community, has already gained widespread attention, capturing the essence of his ongoing humanitarian work on the African continent.

Meanwhile, back in California, Meghan Markle continues to focus on her own engagements, which include charitable projects and initiatives aimed at empowering women and promoting social justice.
