Camilla met brightly dressed Oracene Price on the Players' Lawn, ahead of taking her seat in the Royal Box to watch Andy Murray play on Centre Court.
She commented on how “proud” Mrs Price must be of both her daughters – Serena and Venus – before asking if they were competitive.
The Duchess concluded their conversation by saying: “We will be cheering [Venus]. Wish her our best.”
Dressed in a black-and-white polka dot dress and white jacket, Camilla met some well-known faces from the tennis world including Briton Kyle Edmund and former US player Peter Fleming.

Murray and Jo Konta will give British tennis fans a double reason to cheer when they take to Centre Court back to back.
World number two Murray will play second on the court, facing Yen-Hsun Lu from Chinese Taipei.
He will be followed by the top ranked British female player, Konta, who takes on Canada's Eugenie Bouchard.

Briton Heather Watson lost a gruelling three-set contest against Annika Beck after their match was suspended following rain on Wednesday.
But Dan Evans stormed to a straight-set victory in his second round match against Alexandr Dolgopolov.
