Bad heir day for Wills: Old pal jokes about Prince’s bald spot
THE royal crown is getting bigger and shinier.
The Duke of Cambridge was subject to some teasing because of his hair loss
Prince William faced a ribbing from one of his former air force colleagues yesterday over his hair loss since he left the RAF in September 2013.
Former winchman instructor Master Aircrew Rik Maving, 55, gave the future King some stick.
Prince William was teased by old RAF buddies for expanding bald patch
He said: “It was nice to see him again. He hasn’t changed much apart from he’s lost a bit more hair. Hey, we’re all getting older.”
After a closely cropped new hair cut William, 33, has been displaying a noticeably shinier pate this week on his first two engagements of the year – at the Foreign Office on Tuesday and in Anglesey, north Wales, yesterday.
Back in 2007 the Duke sported a full head of hair
Once famed for his golden locks, he has been losing his hair since he was in his early twenties and now bears a striking resemblance to his uncle Prince Edward who began going bald at the age of 21.
His main consolation, apart from a life of luxury and a beautiful wife and family, is that his younger brother Prince Harry is now starting to go the same way – after years of taking the mickey out of his follicularly challenged big brother.
