Duchess of Cambridge looks radiant in red as she and Prince William arrive in Scotland
THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their first public appearance since their royal tour Down Under, as they arrived in Scotland today.
The happy couple touched down in Crieff, Perthshire, where they were greeted by a whole host of Scottish residents who just couldn't wait to catch a glimspe of them.
Kate and William met members of Scotland's Air Ambulance, as well as children from local Scout, Cadet and Brownie groups during a visit to the Strathearn Community Campus.
Unfortunately, they chose to leave their baby boy Prince George at home and made the most of their time greeting well-wishers.
Kate 32, matched the young children in her bright red attire and chose to wear a crimson coat by Jonathan Saunders and a matching dress by hipster label, Goat.
She accessorised her look with her favourite patent nude heels from L.K. Bennett as well as a matching clutch bag as she chatted away to the kids, who wore dressed in red tracksuits.
She and William were serenaded by a group of bagpipers upon their arrival, who were all dressed in traditional kilts.
Kate was gifted with a pretty bouquet of flowers, which she carried as she made her away around the crowd without her husband.
Later today, the royal couple will travel to the nearby MacRosty Park, where they will unveil another plaque before heading to the nearby Famous Grouse Distillery for a private tour.
The pair will be given the chance to bottle their own Glenturret malt at the country's oldest distillery, and may even enjoy a wee dram themselves.
There had been rumours that Kate may have been expecting her second child, but she quashed when she told wine-makers Down Under how she was enjoying being able to drink again after giving birth to George.
The last time the couple travelled to Scotland in an official capacity was in April last year, when they accompanied the Prince of Wales to Dumfries House in East Ayrshire for the opening of an outdoor centre.
They also visited Glasgow's Emirates Arena, a key venue in this summer's Commonwealth Games.
