It's not Kate and Wills' Aston... newly-wed Luxembourg royals squeeze into tiny BMW
IT may not have been as glamorous as a horse drawn carriage, but the newly wed Prince and Princess of Luxembourg certainly turned heads in their wedding car.
Prince Felix of Luxembourg married his German sweetheart Claire Lademacher at an intimate civil ceremony in Frankfurt.
And the journey certainly wasn't for the faint-hearted as the bride squeezed herself along with her royal hubby into a vintage BMW.
Luckily Princess Claire wore a slim-line knee-length wedding dress to fit inside the old-style mini car.
The Luxembourg royal couple may have been taking inspiration from our very own Kate and William who opted for a vintage Aston Martin out of Buckingham Palace to Kensington once wed.
The Aston Martin, which belongs to Prince Charles, had its number plate changed for the special day, to read 'JU5T WED'.
For Felix and Claire the ceremony was just the first of two wedding ceremonies.
The civil ceremony precedes a religious ceremony before 350 guests at the Sainte Marie-Madeleine de Saint Maximin-la-Sainte Baume basilica in the south of France.
