Prince William and Harry attend friends' wedding as Kate stays home with baby George
PRINCE WILLIAM took a day off from daddy duty, leaving Kate to hold the baby as he attended a wedding in Norfolk.
The Duke of Cambridge arrived to the wedding of Lady Laura Marsham and James Meade at St Nicholas Parish Church in Gayton.
Lady Marsham is the daughter of the eighth Earl of Romney, while Meade is the son of the Olympic three-day eventer Richard Meade.
The pair are close friends with William and Kate, with Meade even giving a speech at the royal wedding in April 2011.
Prince William was acting as usher for his friends, and arrived early to the venue wearing dark grey pinstriped trousers and a dark jacket with tails.
He finished off his polished look with a red tie and a white rose in his suit pocket.
He laughed and joked with other guests before entering the church to join the wedding party.
The wedding became a family affair as Prince Harry later arrived. He wore a long jacket over a cream waistcoat with a blue tie.
Despite Kate not attending the day, her sister Pippa Middleton was very much in attendance.
She opted for a teal blue fitted dress with matched hat and clutch bag.
Kate is it believed had opted to stay at home to look after baby George.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their first official outing to a formal event since the birth of their son George this week when they attended the Tusk Conservation Awards. Kate looked stunning in a floor-length sequinned Jenny Packham gown.
It was their first night away from Prince George, with William saying to reporters: "Please excuse us if you see us nervously casting surreptitious glances at mobiles".
