Prince Harry and King Charles' feud explained

Prince Harry is reportedly hoping to be invited to Sandringham estate this summer to spend time with King Charles – along with his wife and their two children. The 41-year-old is said to be keen on the idea of getting an invitation to spend "family time" at the Norfolk estate.

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, now aged six and four, having not spend time with their paternal grandfather since June 2022. Meghan Markle has also not travelled to the UK since September 2022. The Duke of Sussex is said to be waiting for a decision on his security in the UK and has repeatedly said he does not feel it is safe to bring his wife and children unless he is given armed police protection, The Sunday Times reports.

A friend of Harry's said: "If he was invited by the King, he would get a package of security that automatically kicks in. He'd like an invite to Sandringham. Would he go? It would depend who was there. If the King was to say, 'Come up and spend some time with the family', he'd love that. He always loves seeing his father and would love to see him as much as possible."

Speaking of security, they also added: "There is not a world in which he brings the kids back unless there is an enhanced security package around them. If the King wants to see the kids, all he needs to do is invite them over and it can happen... There are lots of scenarios to make it work, but it's all out of Harry's hands. No father would want to put their kids at any risk."

Royal fans to brace for quiet weeks from William and Kate

After a packed March of public engagements - from the Nigerian state visit and Commonwealth Day service to St. Patrick's Day celebrations and the historic installation of the first female Archbishop of Canterbury - royal fans should expect a quieter April from the Prince and Princess of Wales.

With Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis on school holiday until April 22, William and Kate traditionally scale back public duties to spend time with their children.

The family may attend the Easter service at Windsor on April 5, but they could just as easily enjoy a private stay at Anmer Hall or a short family holiday, as they have done in previous years.

Fans are advised to brace for a few weeks of royal silence before the couple return to their public calendar.

The Saturday Night Live (SNL) UK cold open, which aired yesterday, aimed at brutally mocking Prince Andrew and Peter Mandelson over their links to Jeffrey Epstein, framing the scandal as part of a fictional MI5 plot to boost King Charles III's image.

The sketch depicted officials claiming that the only way to increase the likability of Charles was to decrease the likability of everyone around him, before Andrew agreed to go along with a supposed "29-year plan".

In one of the most prominent jokes, Andrew questioned the scheme, asking if it really required "befriending a notorious paedophile".

Former Prince Andrew moved out of the 30-room Windsor's Royal Lodge estate last month into a more modest cottage in Sandringham after further Epstein files contained his name and more images in connection with the late paedophile financier.

A man, reportedly one of Andrew's former valets, was spotted burning items, including furniture, on the grounds of the estate on Tuesday, while more removal vans were seen packing up on Wednesday.

A source told the Daily Mirror: "Andrew was told everything has to be out and absolutely nothing was to be left behind.

"He hasn't been back to collect anything, leaving staff to Everything has to be out by the weekend and we've been told no trace of the former occupants or staff should remain."

Royal Family's 'next superstar' is 'ordinary' young woman who worked in a garden centre

She has grown up largely out of the royal spotlight. A firm favourite of her late grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, she quietly worked her way through university supporting herself with a part-time job at a garden centre.

Something of a Tom Boy she prefers horses and the military to fashion and the London party scene, possibly because of her quiet, solid upbringing away from the capital.
