Royal Family hiring live-in Buckingham Palace staff - no experience needed
The role is said to offer a competitive salary

Buckingham Palace is currently on the lookout for new members of staff, with vacancies boasting "a generous benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and life priorities".
One of the available positions is a live-in role, meaning successful candidates will be required to relocate to Royal premises.
This particular opening requires absolutely no previous experience. The Kitchen Porter vacancy closes on Saturday, March 21, with employment commencing in June 2026 on a fixed-term contract.
It is a full-time post involving up to 45 hours per week, Monday through Sunday, though staff are only required to work five days out of any seven-day period.
While experience "in a similar role would be an advantage", it is by no means essential, as thorough on-site training will be provided.
Other desirable attributes include taking pride in one's work, enjoying being part of a team, being "happy to get involved", and being "keen to develop your skills and gain experience within an exceptional team environment".

No specific salary figure is stated in the advertisement, though pay is described as "competitive plus benefits". Outlining the nature of the role, the listing adds that "feeling proud of your contribution and working with a shared and unique purpose is what makes working for the Royal Household so different."
The role's daily responsibilities will involve maintaining the kitchen to ensure chefs are fully equipped to prepare meals, including duties such as cleaning surfaces, equipment and utensils.
The successful applicant will also assist with basic food preparation as and when needed.
The job listing states: "Our team members work collaboratively, with the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of the kitchen. With training and support embedded in our team culture, you'll be encouraged to grow your skills.
"Although based at Buckingham Palace, you'll also work at different Royal residences throughout the year."
