Pictures included in the latest released batch of Epstein files appear to show Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on all fours over a woman lying on the floor. No explanation nor context is offered by the US Department of Justice, which released these snaps, and no date is given. Two images appear to a show a man touching the stomach of a woman, whose identity has been concealed, with another capturing him looking straight into the camera. The snaps don't imply any wrongdoing.

Being pictured or named in the Epstein files doesn't imply any wrongdoing. The former Duke of York has repeatedly and vehemently denied any wrongdoing over his association with the convicted sex offender. The Express has contacted a representative of the former duke for comment.

In a statement in 2019, he said that during the "limited time" he spent with Jeffrey Epstein, he never saw or suspected "any behavior of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction".

In documents released on Friday, Andrew is named multiple times, although this doesn't suggest any wrongdoing.

An email exchange shows an account named "The Duke" and Epstein discussing a "beautiful" woman.

In the exchange dating back to August 2010, two years after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor, Epstein suggests he wants to introduce "A" to a woman, whom is described as "a friend who I think you might enjoy having dinner with" and disclosed when she would be in London.

"The Duke" replies that he would be in Geneva "until the morning of the 22nd but would be delighted to see her" before asking: "Will she be bringing a message from you? Please give her my contact details to get in touch."

"The Duke" asks Epstein whether there is "any other information you might know about her that might be useful to know?"

Epstein seemingly replied that "she [is] 26, russian, clevere [sic] beautiful, trustworthy and yes she has your email".

In another email exchange, an account named "The Duke" appeared to invite Epstein to Buckingham Palace and promised "lots of privacy".

The email read: "I am just departing Scotland should be down by 1800. I'll ring you when I get down if you can give me a number to ring. Alternatively we could have dinner at Buckingham Palace and lots of privacy. A".

These email exchanges do not indicate any wrongdoing.

In another email exchange, Epstein appears to have sent a birthday message to Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles last year, on February 19, 2011. He added: "This year should be great."

However, Epstein turned down an invitation to attend Andrew Mountbatten‑Windsor’s 50th birthday celebration at St James’s Palace.

An email from February 8, 2010, sent by Amanda Thirsk, the then-Andrew’s deputy private secretary, extended the invitation to Epstein for the event.

The gathering was scheduled for the evening of February 26, 2010, and was to include drinks followed by dinner at the palace. Thirsk noted the dress code as "suits and cocktail dresses", adding a remark about her "mysterious mischief".

Epstein replied to a follow up email asking whether he planned to attend saying: "not able".
