All Creatures Great and Small: Trailer for series based on books
Samuel West has thrilled fans by sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from series seven of All Creatures Great and Small.
The beloved period drama is set to return following a double commission confirmed for series seven and eight, each featuring six one-hour episodes, alongside Christmas Specials.
While a broadcast date has yet to be announced, production for the new episodes began back in February.
Series seven of All Creatures Great and Small, adapted from James Herriot's books documenting his experiences as a vet in rural Yorkshire, is anticipated to continue from the 2025 festive special.
Given that a new series of the drama has arrived annually since 2020, with series five launching in September and series one in October, fresh episodes could well land in autumn, the Mirror reports.

On Friday (5th June), Siegfried Farnon star Samuel West offered a glimpse into filming series seven of the programme, including photographs of his co-stars.
In one image shared on X, Callum Woodhouse, who portrays Siegfried's brother, Tristan, is pictured in full period costume, seemingly taking a break from shooting.
Callum smiles warmly at the camera while seated on a comfortable armchair beneath a lampshade, with one foot resting on a stool and a coat draped over his legs. Samuel captioned the post: "Callum, comfy."
In another photograph, Helen Herriot actress Rachel Shenton appeared sleepy as she sat on a wooden chair with her head resting on one hand while her eyes were closed.

She cuts an elegant figure, dressed in a beautiful red blouse tucked into a long navy blue skirt with brown shoes. Samuel playfully captioned the post: "Tell me you've got a one-year-old without telling me you've got a one-year-old #1: Rach."
Additional photographs showcased sweeping vistas of the stunning Yorkshire countryside alongside members of the production crew.
In another charming image, Samuel can be seen cradling a tiny creature in both hands while beaming affectionately.
He's dressed in Siegfried's signature tweed three-piece suit, complemented by a red tie, with his hair neatly swept back. A classic timepiece adorns his wrist.

"And finally, the real star of the show. Plus some guy in a suit", he wrote beneath the photograph, sparking enthusiasm amongst fans for the upcoming episodes.
In the comments section, supporters expressed their anticipation for the new series, with one person remarking: "Can't wait for you guys to grace my screen. In a world of disarray, you and the cast of ACGAS are a breath of fresh air. Plus you are kinda sorta cute."
Another declared: "The rat and you aside, I adore the love for detail in your costume. The wrist watch is a piece of beauty."
A third enthused: "We love you, Sam! Thank you for sharing these photos!", while another chimed in: "Thank you so much for all the amazing photos. Can't wait for autumn and series 7."
"These photos are so wholesome, thank you for sharing. Bring on S7!", remarked another admirer.
What will season 7 be about?
While Channel 5 is presently keeping the storyline details of All Creatures Great and Small series seven closely guarded, Greg Barnett, Commissioning Editor at 5, has hinted that there are "many new stories still to tell and more unforgettable adventures ahead".
