All the details of Peter Phillips’ and Harriet Sperling’s wedding
King Charles's nephew, Peter Phillips, and NHS nurse Harriet Sperling were officially married in a private ceremony on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The service took place at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire, following the couple’s public engagement announcement back in August. Their wedding reception is being held at Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park Estate.
The high-profile event drew a large turnout of senior royals. Attendees celebrating the couple included Princess Anne, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Zara and Mike Tindall, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
Making a surprising appearance, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie shocked royal fans by attending the nuptials alongside their husbands. The sisters arrived amid recent public discussions regarding their rent-free living arrangements at royal properties.
The couple’s daughters took centre stage during the ceremony, serving as the bridal party. Peter’s daughters, Savannah and Isla, alongside Harriet’s daughter, Georgina, all wore coordinating white dresses as they walked behind the bride. Their dresses, like the bride's, were designed by Emilia Wickstead.
King Charles and Queen Camilla also attended the service before travelling directly to the racecourse for the Epsom Derby. To balance both events, Queen Camilla notably missed the final dress rehearsal for Trooping the Colour earlier that morning.
