Prince Harry's unlikely royal ally as feud with King Charles and Prince William rumbles on
A key senior member of the Royal Family could act as a major mediator between Prince Harry and the King and Prince of Wales, claims author.
Prince Harry could have an unlikely royal ally in his ongoing feud with King Charles and Prince William. The Duke of Sussex has been estranged from the Royal Family since his sensational departure in 2020.
Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have made a series of explosive claims about the royals, which have further deepened the rift between the two camps. Recently, Harry met with his father at Clarence House during his four-day visit to the UK, which sparked hope for a possible reconciliation in the future. It was the first time the two had met in 19 months.
But according to one author, there has always been one member of the Royal Family who would urge the monarch to solve his differences with his estranged son - his younger brother, Prince Edward.

In his bombshell book Endgame, released in 2023, Omid Scobie wrote: "Prince Edward was one of the few who felt Charles should 'properly speak' with his son and try to move on."
In 2021, following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke of Edinburgh was the only royal who publicly discussed the feud with the Sussexes, branding it "very sad."
He said in an interview with CNN: "Listen, weirdly we’ve all been there before. We’ve all had excessive intrusion and attention in our lives.
"And we’ve all dealt with it in slightly different ways, and listen, we wish them the very best of luck. It’s a really hard decision."
Following their interview, Buckingham Palace issued a statement on behalf of the late Queen, which read: "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
"The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.
"Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved family members."
