Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of "trading off" their former royal titles to help them earn money for their new "elitist" lifestyle.

In a new German documentary named Harry: The Lost Prince, the couple are criticised for their actions since leaving life as senior working members of the Royal Family in 2020 and moving across the pond to Montecito, where they have continued to use their titles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The couple have also been accused of hypocrisy through their actions, including on their tour to Colombia this year.

One reporter Russel Myers said on the show: "If you're going to places like Nigeria, like Colombia, which have huge socio-economic problems, some of the world's poorest communities in these countries, and you're turning up wearing tens of thousands of pounds worth of designer clothes - it really doesn't send the right message."

Jack Royston from the podcast The Royal Report then commented on their unreasonable demand from the monarchy to be half in and half out, something the late Queen refused to allow them to do. He said: "If you have a situation where Harry and Meghan are earning huge amounts of money in Hollywood trading off their reputations, but then they're also bolstering their reputations by working for the Queen - they're able to present themselves on the world stage as being these working members of the royal family who are also available for a price.

"That is a huge compromise to demand off the monarchy. They should never be using the monarchy as a platform."

Palace solves mystery of where flowers are sent after royal events

The mystery behind where flowers are sent after decorating high-profile royal events appears to have been solved by Buckingham Palace.

The Amir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bin Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani, are being hosted in the UK by King Charles during a two-day state visit.

According to the Palace, the stunning seasonal flowers at tonight's event are arranged in silver-gilt centrepieces taken from the Grand Service with foliage from the Windsor Home Park and the Orchard Garden at the glasshouses in Windsor.

But the flowers aren't simply thrown away after, with the Palace ensuring that they go to a good cause.

Prince William and Princess Kate could abandon Royal Family's Christmas tradition - expert

Prince William and Princess Kate could one day change their Christmas traditions to give their three children a more normal festive celebration, a royal expert claims.

The future King and Queen, both 42, join the King and other royals at Sandringham every year for Christmas Day celebrations, which consists of a certain level of formality.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond exclusively told OK!: "I don't think they worry particularly about how they’re perceived at Christmas but I do think that Catherine and William want to do things in a more normal way.

"They are lucky because they have their own home close to Sandringham so they’ve always been able to wake up there, do stockings and presents and then go over to the big house for the more formal celebrations."

"I suspect that when they are King and Queen a lot of traditions will change – and the exchange of presents on Christmas Eve may well be one of them," Bond added.

King Charles visiting US could be 'difficult' - expert

A royal expert has claimed that the possibility of King Charles making a visit to the US could be made difficult due to his strained relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

With suggestions that King Charles is set to return to his regular royal duties in the new year while he continues his cancer recovery, the Daily Mirror's royal editor, Russell Myers believes that the US could be set for a visit from the King, as he told Pod Save The King.

But podcast host Ann Gripper doesn't think that is on the cards, as she explained: "I am going to shoot down your theory of them going to America, because, who else is in America? Meghan and Harry.

“Who else is in America? Meghan and Harry, then it becomes an international, diplomatic….Are they going to come to New York, we’ve come half the way across the world and you’ve just come to the other side of the country, and should we just meet up, can we see the grandkids. If it’s not actually a thing, it will be a thing we’re all talking about.”

Prince George assigned one chore at family home

Prince George may be second-in-line to the throne, but at home he is just like most other 11-year-olds across the UK.

As well as going to school, playing video games and taking part in sports such as triathlons, the young prince - and future King - also has certain chores he has to do around the house.

As reported in the New York Post, royal expert Hilary Fordwich said: "She (Kate) was always used to chores. Her parents were busy building their Party Pieces business that her mother Carole Middleton founded.

“Young Kate was instrumental in developing party supplies specifically for babies and young children, so she knows the power of active, engaged children who learn responsibilities. Prince George is currently assigned to clean out their pet guinea pig's cage."

This will be hosted at Buckingham Palace by the King and Queen, and will be the last state visit to be held at the Palace until 2027 as a result of renovations.

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who took on his duties from 2013, last visited the UK in 2023 for the King’s Coronation. He will be in the UK until Wednesday evening.

New documentary could ruin Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's reputation - expert

A new documentary 'Harry - The Lost Prince' is set to air on Germany's ZDF network and will have the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as the primary focus.

PR expert Ryan McCormick told The Mirror US that the documentary has the potential to ruin the couple’s reputation and their hopes of any form of reconciliation with the royals, depending on what the new programme reveals.

He said: "Until the film comes out, everything is speculation. However, I think that if the special does not get a healthy amount of viewers, it would be a foretelling sign that Harry and Meghan‘s popularity has truly waned.

"If the documentary reveals fresh scandals and portrays the duo as opportunists seeking to return to the well of royal family secrets (which once propelled them to peak public interest), it will be a calamity for any reconciliation with Buckingham Palace. It will also hurt their reputation and likability."

Princess Kate's letter seen as olive branch to Prince Harry

The Princess of Wales appeared to offer an olive branch to her estranged brother-in-law, Prince Harry, in what was her first Christmas message sent to those attending her Christmas Carol concert this year.

The message echoes the service's theme and focuses heavily on "forgiveness", "empathy" and "love", with the princess appearing to be making a peace offering to the Duke of Sussex.

Prince Harry has been estranged from the Royal Family since he quit the Firm and moved to the US nearly five years ago, however, this year's challenges regarding his family's health, like King Charles and Kate's cancer diagnoses have made several royal watchers speculate whether they could lead to a new path for a possible reconciliation in the future.

Prince George's difficult hobby

During a short chat with her, the Prince of Wales, 43, admitted that his eldest son was becoming extremely fond of triathlons, despite the fact they are known for being difficult.

Queen Camilla's latest health update

The Queen is to miss the ceremonial welcome during the Qatari state visit due to the lingering side effects of a chest infection, but will attend other elements of the day, Buckingham Palace announced on Monday.

Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and his consort have arrived in the UK for a two-day state visit hosted by King Charles, during which Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer will also play a role.

It is understood the original programme has been tweaked because Queen Camilla, who had a chest infection after her long haul trip to Australia and Samoa, has been advised to rest and recover fully by doctors.

Camilla will miss the outdoor event on the Horse Guards Parade, where the King and the Prince and Princess of Wales will join the Emir of Qatar and his wife on December 3.
