Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Louis's secret signal spotted by eagle-eyed fans

Royal fans are convinced the Wales family sent a message to the country when they stepped out together for Trooping the Colour last year.

An enormous amount of thought and detail went into the 2023 Trooping the Colour celebrations, being the first official birthday of King Charles to be marked during his reign.

During the occasion, the Prince and Princess of Wales seemingly sent a poignant secret message out to the public, using the entire family's wardrobe.

Prince William wore his iconic red military uniform, while his sons Prince George and Prince Louis donned coordinated smart navy blue blazers paired with red ties and white shirts. Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte wore a pretty white dress with detailing around the neckline, accompanied with a red belt.

Princess Kate, as always, stunned the public with an elegant emerald green coat dress designed by Andrew Gn which she perfectly coordinated with a matching hat.

The more observant fans picked up on the detailing of the families attire, spotting the hidden message. One fan wrote on the social media platform X: "I just adore the attention to detail, the Wales family are wearing green white and red, colours of the Welsh Flag."

Another posted: "I believe Catherine is in Green because she is Colonel of the Irish Guards.” And a third similarly stated: "The Princess of Wales is wearing green! A colour reminiscent of her role as honorary colonel of the Irish Guards."

The royal couple’s youngest child, Louis, is known for his cheeky behaviour, and stole the show also during last year’s event.

According to a body language expert, Princess Kate has special tactics to keep her youngster in check.

Speaking to Fabulous, Judi James said: "Kate's firm but subtle signals ensure the children keep feeling enthusiastic and, in Louis' case, excited. She beamed with pride when Louis started miming drumming along with the band in the carriage."

The expert added: "Talking to her children there were a couple of gestures of what looked like guidance about when to wave. There was also a spreading gesture of both hands that would normally mean quite a severe message of when to stop or what not to do , too.

"She also put her hands below public view in the carriage to mime that 'stop' or 'end' sign to them as though warning them where the boundaries were, and on the way back she was doing small reward nods and smiles for their good behaviour, to ensure they were enjoying the event too."

Nevertheless, Louis still entertained during the proceedings, pinching his nose and wincing at the smell of horse manure and cheekily sticking his tongue out at spectators he passed by.
