Royal investigated by police after complaints made by four different victims

A Norwegian publication reports that there are four claimants in a case currently active against Crown Princess Mette-Marit's son Marius Borg Høiby.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit's son Marius Borg Høiby is being investigated after complaints were made by four different victims, according to new reports.

Se og Hør reports that there are four claimants in a case currently active against Høiby, 27.

The report suggests that one is a charge which came about after an incident in an apartment in Frogner, Oslo on August 4. The charges include alleged reckless behaviour and breach of a restraining order, as well as a further case of bodily harm.

Høiby is also charged with abuse against two close friends, his ex-girlfriend Juliane Snekkestad, 29, and Nora Haukland, 27. He is also charged with alleged threats against a fourth person.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit, 51, and Crown Prince Haakon, 51, have kept quiet about the incident. They have explicitly said they won't be commenting on the case, despite pressure on the couple to comment.

Reports suggest that it's not believed to be a coincidence that his military service in the north of Norway was recently extended from 12 to 15 months, but instead something the family have pushed for, according to Se og Hør.

The latest update comes as Skaugum, the Norwegian royal residence, was burgled last month.

The burglary happened after Høiby held a "wild" party at the Palace.

Reports stated that members of a known motorcycle gang stole private items both of high crown value and personal value to the Royal Family.

In a video shared online, an unidentified person filmed themselves using a segway to navigate Princess Mette-Marit and Prince Haakon's private apartment - which was ransacked with items strewn across the floor.

Valuable silverware is also said to have been stolen, which the thieves reportedly tried to sell via an auction house.

The Royal House of Norway has been approached for comment.
