Prince Harry and Meghan Markle "won't endorse a US candidate" and will remain neutral in the upcoming US presidential election, it's been reported by The Telegraph.

The pair's Archewell Foundation issued a statement on the upcoming elections earlier this week, which read: “Voting is not just a right; it’s a fundamental way to influence the fate of our communities. At The Archewell Foundation, we recognise that civic engagement, no matter one’s political party, is at the heart of a more just and equitable world."

Before she married into the Royal Family, Meghan described Donald Trump as "misogynistic" and "divisive" - to which he responded via a video that he was "no fan" of hers. He also wished "a lot of luck to Harry because he’s going to need it".

Before the 2020 presidential race, Meghan and Harry appeared in a video urging people to vote. In the video, Harry said that they should "reject hate speech" - whilst Meghan also labelled the 2020 presidential race as the "most important election of our lifetime".

Buckingham Palace later spoke out and distanced themselves from Harry's comment. They claimed that as he was no longer a working royal, the comments were made in a "personal capacity". One palace insider was said to have claimed he had "crossed the line".

Princess Anne's heartbreaking question to Prince Harry after he missed Queen's death

Princess Anne asked Prince Harry a heartbreaking question after he realised he missed the late Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

King Charles has 'left door open' for Prince Harry as Duke prepares for UK return

King Charles has "left the door open" for Prince Harry as the duke prepares to return to the UK later this month, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex will travel to his home country for the fourth time this year to attend the WellChild Awards on September 30, which has sparked hope for a possible meeting between him and his father.

Harry has been estranged from the Royal Family with his relationship described as "frosty" by many royal watchers.

While some reports suggested that a meeting between father and son will be unlikely as Charles will be in Scotland for a special 25th-anniversary celebration at the Scottish Parliament on September 28, a royal expert claimed that Harry's latest trip back could pave the way for a meeting and reconciliation with the King.

His first stop is at the offices of Shelter Scotland where he heard more about the services they offer supporting people who are homeless or on the brink of losing the roof over their heads and meeting those they have helped.

'Real reason' Prince Harry and Meghan Markle issued election statement revealed by expert

EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made headlines earlier this week after they urged people to vote ahead of the forthcoming US election in November - but now an expert has suggested there was a reason behind their carefully worded message.

The Duke and Duchess issued a statement through their Archewell Foundation's website this week.

Archwell's message read: "Voting is not just a right; it’s a fundamental way to influence the fate of our communities."

Neither Meghan, Harry nor the foundation publically endorsed Kamala Harris or Donald Trump in the upcoming election but previously, the two women have spoken about each other.

Now veteran royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has analysed the Sussexes's statement and claimed there is a reason why it remained politically neutral.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte to be 'separated' due to rule protecting the Crown

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are to be 'separated' due to a long-standing rule protecting the Crown.

Once Prince George turns 12, the young royal siblings will no longer be able to travel together - and he will also no longer be permitted to share a helicopter or aeroplane journey with his father, Prince William, according to this rule.

The rule is designed to protect the monarchy in cases of accidents and keep the line of succession safe. The safety protocol has been enforced on Prince William too since he was a youngster, as a direct heir to the throne.

Prince William has 'no interest' in reconciling with Harry despite surprise birthday wish

The Prince of Wales has "no interest" in beginning a "complicated reconciliation process" with his estranged brother, the Duke of Sussex, despite his birthday message to him on Sunday, an insider has claimed.

The two feuding brothers saw their relationship crumble following Prince Harry's sensational exit from the Royal Family and move to the US in 2020.

But following Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace's online messages on the duke's milestone birthday last Sunday, some royal watchers questioned whether the moves paved the way for peace talks between the two sides.

Princess Kate 'has ace up sleeve' and hopes to heal William and Harry feud, source claims

Princess Kate reportedly wants her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry to finally fix their rocky relationship once and for all, after realising just how precious life is due to her health ordeal.

According to a source, Kate read theories during her chemotherapy treatment about cancer being linked to stress, and it prompted her to extend an olive branch to Harry.

"Facing your own mortality changes people. Kate knows how precious life is and to not waste time on the past," the source told New Idea Magazine.

Prince Harry could meet King Charles for first time in months as he stays close to Palace

EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry will be staying within a stone's throw of Buckingham Palace during his upcoming trip to the United Kingdom, Express.co.uk has learned.

According to a well-placed source, the Duke of Sussex will be within a very short distance of his family's main residence when he arrives in the capital for the WellChild Awards on September 30.

Express.co.uk is aware of where Prince Harry will be staying but has agreed to withhold the information for security reasons.

The source adds that although the prince has chosen to avoid staying at a royal residence, a meeting with his father King Charles has not been ruled out.
