Princess Kate and Charlotte mirror sweet Diana and William moment as fans spot 'twin'
Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte looked adorable as they enjoyed the men's singles final of Wimbledon together earlier this month.
A photo of Princess Catherine and Princess Charlotte has left people stunned after they spotted it was just like a similar snap of Princess Diana and Prince William. But it was another royal resemblance that really got fans talking.
The Princess of Wales, 42, appeared at Wimbledon alongside her nine-year0old daughter earlier this month. The pair enjoyed a front-seat view of the men's singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic from the Royal Box at Centre Court.
This marked the future Queen's second public outing since her cancer diagnosis was announced earlier in the year.
However, it wasn't just the tennis that caught the attention of fans, who were quick to draw parallels between the recent photograph and one taken 33 years ago of Prince William with his late mother. Social media users took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to comment on the similarities.
Others were equally amazed by how much a young William resembled his son George in the snapshot.

In both photos, the young royals are seen sharing a moment with their mothers, William looking up with a smile as Diana speaks to him, and Charlotte beaming as Kate leans in close.

Kate was seen in a purple dress, a similar colour to the one worn by the Princess Diana in the earlier photo, while both William and Charlotte were dressed in navy. The young prince looking dapper in a smart shirt, blazer and tie ensemble, while Charlotte donned a polka dot dress.
However, it was not these striking similarities that caught the attention of Royal fans the most rather, it was the uncanny resemblance between William and his children. One observer commented: "No doubt charlotte is william twin but in this photo i see george.."
Another chimed in: "George is also William's twin..." while a third concurred: "Love this."
