It is believed Prince Harry's new life in the US is becoming "uncomfortable" with the glamour of living in California "definitely wearing off", claims a royal author. The Duke eventually relocated to Montecito, California, with his wife, Meghan Markle after stepping down as a working royal in 2020, and he has settled in a £12million mansion with his two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, two.

Royal expert and author, Tom Quinn told the Mirror Harry's initial delight with moving to America is fading. He said: "During his first six months in the States Harry found everything new and exciting, but the glamour is definitely wearing off. However big your garden and Harry and Meghan's garden at Montecito is enormous, there's only so much you can do when you have no practical skills and you have always paid people to cook, clean and garden for you."

He added although Meghan is in her "natural environment" it is still an "unfamiliar world" for the Prince. However, Harry's new life has also hit a roadblock with the initiation of a lawsuit by The Heritage Foundation, a think tank group. It comes as Prince Harry’s US visa application is being reviewed by a judge following his admissions about his use of drugs in his memoir Spare, something which he is said to seriously 'regret'.

The Heritage Foundation launched a lawsuit against Harry to determine whether he lied on his full-time visa application when he moved to America. The royal expert said: "The couple have taken legal advice because they're seriously worried that if Donald Trump wins the next election Harry's visa may be revoked. Trump has insisted that if Harry is found to have lied on his visa application about his admitted drug taking, he could be asked to leave the country."

He added Harry's whole life plan could be threatened: "Harry initially thought this couldn't possibly happen to him as the normal rules don't apply to a Royal Prince, but he is increasingly realising that in the United States being a Prince doesn't actually count for very much."

Queen Camilla reveals key 'obsession everyone teases her about' - and it's so British

Queen Camilla is "obsessed" with weather apps and "everybody teases her" about it, an author has revealed.

Camilla attended a reception at Clarence House today to celebrate the National Literacy Trust's 30th anniversary.

The Queen mingled with bestselling authors and volunteers for the charity, which works to give children and adults of all ages literacy skills.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a 'key lesson' to learn from Keir Starmer's landslide

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have a "key lesson" to learn from Keir Starmer's landslide victory at the General Election last week, a royal commentator has claimed.

Labour won against Tories securing the 411 seats required for a majority in the House of Commons - thus putting an end to 14 years of Conservative rule.

And according to Newsweek's royal correspondent, Jack Royston, Sir Keir's victory and how he responded to the scrutinisation from certain media beforehand should teach the Sussex couple a thing or two about their own strategy.

Dame Shirley Bassey was made a Companion of Honour by King Charles at Windsor Castle - but the legendary performer admitted she made a royal error at the ceremony held today.

The 87-year-old admittedly grabbed the monarch's hand when being presented her award but joked she "forgot to curtsy".

The Welsh singer said she was more nervous about receiving an honour from Charles than performing for the royal.

Prince Harry warned he must do one of two things to avoid being 'booed' by raging audience

Prince Harry has been warned he must do one of two things to avoid being "booed" as he faces an increasing backlash ahead of a possible high-profile appearance to receive an award.

The Duke of Sussex looks set to be given a memorial award established in the name of Pat Tillman in Hollywood on Thursday.

Mr Tillman, a former American Football player, served in Iraq and then Afghanistan before he was killed by friendly fire in 2004, after which he was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his service.

Prince William's hilarious 7-word response after being reunited with ex-flying instructor

Prince William made a hilarious seven-word quip after he was reunited with his former flying instructor during a visit to the RAF base where he served for three years in North Wales.

The Prince of Wales braved the rain and wind today as he visited RAF Valley in Anglesey, describing it as a "bit of nostalgia" while he toured the familiar airbase and met personnel from across the unit to hear more about their work and day-to-day life.

William became Royal Honorary Air Commodore of RAF Valley last August after taking over the role from the King.

Today, he chatted with instructors, trainees and engineers over a cup of tea, which he drank from a Prince of Wales mug, and met his former flying instructor Captain Brian Wills.

Meghan Markle's claim Firm took her passport torn apart as she actually 'took 13 holidays'

Meghan Markle reportedly jetted off for at least 13 foreign holidays - despite telling US chat show host Oprah Winfrey that her passport was taken away when she joined the Royal Family.

The Firm was left scrambling after the bombshell tell-all televised interview Harry and Meghan had with Oprah in March 2021.

This came around a year after the couple stepped down from their roles as senior working royals and relocated from the UK to the US.

Prince Harry 'given brutal one-word nickname by royals' after quitting Firm

Prince Harry was given a “brutal one-word name” by royals after he parted ways from the Firm. In January 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to step back from their senior royal roles.

The revelation was made in Omid Scobie’s book Endgame which was released on November 21 last year.

The book also gave an insight into the feud between the Duke of Sussex, his father King Charles and his brother Prince William.

The real reason why Prince William can't step in for Princess Kate at Wimbledon

Prince William is unlikely to be Princess Kate's possible replacement to present the winner's trophies at Wimbledon 2024, as the Prince has shown he has other important sporting commitments.

Kate's ongoing cancer treatment has raised questions over whether she will feel well enough to attend the finals this weekend, and royal fans might expect the Prince of Wales to take his place. But instead, Prince William, as president of the Football Association, is likely to be cheering on his beloved England in Germany as Gareth Southgate's team proceed through the tournament.

Princess Kate's heartbreaking 7-word remark about living in Anglesey with Prince William

Although the Royal Family does not have a home in Wales, Prince William and Princess Kate lived on the Isle of Anglesey, or Ynys Môn, from 2010 to 2013, due to William's job as a search and rescue pilot with the Royal Air Force (RAF).

Although the couple were not engaged when William was stationed on the Welsh island in 2010, Kate joined her boyfriend at the time and they shared a house, but almost a decade later, Kate admitted she felt a little lonely while living there.

Prince William's tough approach to Prince Harry problem likened to this very strict royal

Prince William has "stepped into the Prince Philip role" and is now "calling the shots" within the Royal Family, a source has claimed.

The Prince of Wales is said to have taken the lead role when it comes to family discipline, as it collapsed after the death of the late Duke of Edinburgh.

According to a source, Philip used to "rule" the Firm with a "rod of iron", however now it is William who controls most of the family's issues as the royals deal with several crises, including one of the biggest ones, Prince Harry's feud.

A source told the Daily Beast: "There is a sense that William has stepped into the Prince Philip role. Philip ruled the family with a rod of iron and you saw when he died that discipline collapsed..."

Princess Diana's brutal prediction about Camilla comes true as popularity surges

The bond between King Charles and Queen Camilla, spanning over five decades, has been highlighted in recent months as the Queen Consort's presence becomes increasingly vital to the monarch.

Amid a year fraught with Royal health scares, including the King's own cancer diagnosis, Queen Camilla's role has become crucial as she steps up to maintain the stability of the monarchy.

As her 77th birthday approaches, more individuals are recognising Camilla's contributions. One Royal commentator even suggested that this was something predicted by Charles' first wife, the late Princess Diana, over three decades ago.

Reason behind Queen Camilla's 'rocking' transformation after difficult year

King Charles and Queen Camilla's enduring partnership has spanned over 50 years, with the last seven months showcasing the Queen's seamless adaptation to her role, much to the King's joy.

Despite health scares within the Royal Family, Camilla's public presence has only grown stronger, expertly filling in where needed and keeping the monarchy on course.

As she approaches her 77th birthday, Camilla's value is being increasingly acknowledged, particularly given the significant increase in her Royal duties.

"Camilla is certainly rocking it as she approaches her 77th birthday," said Jennie Bond, a former BBC Royal correspondent speaking to OK!magazine. She suggested that the Queen may have even "surprised herself" with the sheer amount of work she's taken on lately.

Meghan Markle and King Charles 'petty rivalry' rumours dismissed as 'beneath' monarch

They added: "Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are at the top of her list, but she is shooting even higher and would love to get King Charles to give his stamp of approval."
