Meghan Markle has once again decided to avoid coming back to the UK, something which a royal commentator believes could be a good thing.
Prince Harry has confirmed he will be attending a service at St Paul's Cathedral on May 8 to celebrate 10 years of the Invictus Games, during which he will give a reading.
However his wife the Duchess of Sussex will not be with him, instead flying over to meet him in Nigeria later in the month for an official visit there.
Meghan has not visited the UK since 2022, and when she was here with Harry for the Platinum Jubilee the pair were booed as they attended the Service of Thanksgiving.
The Daily Mail's Richard Eden told Palace Confidential this week: "She does not want to return to Britain in a hurry. There are many people here who won't be sad about that. Meghan will be wary of getting booed at St Paul's."

Meghan Markle 'is done' with UK as she 'doesn't want the drama'
Meghan Markle will snub the UK as sources say she is "done" with the country because she "doesn't want the drama" of dealing with the Royal Family.
Prince Harry will fly alone to the UK to attend a Wednesday afternoon service at St. Paul’s Cathedral to mark the tenth anniversary of his Invictus Games before privately meeting King Charles afterwards.
The Duchess of Sussex will, however, jet out of LA the following day to join Harry in Nigeria for talks with leaders of the West African nation about hosting future Invictus events for injured military personnel.
King Charles sends four-word message to Prince Harry after he asks for meeting
King Charles has sent Prince Harry one four-word message after the Duke asked for an "olive-branch meeting" during his next visit to the UK, it has been reported.
The Duke of Sussex is set to grace St. Paul's Cathedral for a service marking the Invictus Games' decade milestone service after he pioneered for wounded servicemen and women in 2014.
Insiders say Prince Harry wants to meet with King Charles during his visit to the UK, following their fleeting meeting shortly after the monarch was diagnosed with cancer.
When Harry broached the subject of a meet-up, it has been reported that King Charles said he would only meet the Duke "if he is able".

Insiders have claimed that Prince Charles plans to meet with his estranged son during his visit. Yet, Royal author Tom Quinn suggests that Meghan's decision to skip the UK trip may not sit well with the Royal Family.
Quinn said: "Meghan's no-show in the UK will just confirm the Royal family's view that the breach is permanent."
Quinn told the Mirror.: "Harry's loyalty is entirely to his wife; if she blames the royal family for the breach then so does he. Without the Invictus Games, there's no way Harry would have come to the UK at all."

This means that Princess Charlotte was not overtaken in the line of succession by Prince Louis.
However the law was not in effect when Princess Anne was born, meaning Prince Andrew and Prince Edward both overtook her.
