Prince Harry warned he may lose support of his ‘progressive’ fanbase because of new show
Prince Harry is working on a new TV series, and it may create some "tension" amongst his fans, a royal expert has warned.
Prince Harry talks about the travel industry
Prince Harry’s new Netflix series revolves around polo, which isn’t going to sit well with his fans, says one royal expert.
The Duke of Sussex's fanbase consists of young progressives who are "anti-rich" and "anti-elite", according to Newsweek’s Jack Royston.
He said: "It's interesting because it's a step back towards royal life for him. Polo is a big part of the Royal Family's way of doing things. They all play polo."
Harry has been looking to carve his own career path away from the Royal Family, and now he’s making a TV show about polo, which is known as the sport of kings.
According to Mr Royston, "polo is a very elite sport, so it could create a little bit of tension within the fanbase."

Harry and Meghan are working on "his and her Netflix shows" with Harry’s focused on polo and Meghan’s revolving around "cooking, gardening and friendship".
But Royston doesn’t know what to make of the new career moves from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
He continued: "It’s quite different to the direction they took themselves in when they first came to America, which was all about appealing to young progressives who are quite anti-rich and anti-elite."

The royal expert is seeing another big change coming out of the Sussex camp, with Harry listing the US as his place of residence in official paperwork for Travalyst, an organisation the prince is part owner of.
For the past for years, since moving to the US after he and Meghan stepped away as senior working members of the Royal Family, Harry has listed the UK as his place of residence for Travalyst.
But this latest move marks the first time he’s listed the US as his place of residency.
