Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are 'losing support' in fresh blow
The Sussexes's surprise appearance in Jamaica could be part of an effort to bolster their flagging Hollywood careers as support collapses.
Nana Akua blasts Harry and Meghan's 'crumbling Montecito empire'
The Sussexes appear to be on a mission to strike deals and improve their Hollywood prospects. But it’s too early to tell if their appearance on the red carpet in Jamaica has helped or hampered their efforts as one royal expert warned that support was haemorrhaging away.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said that Harry and Meghan need to focus on other ways to get their name in the spotlight.
Speaking to GB News he said that they needed to find new outlets rather than relying on “continued attacks” on the Royal Family to make headlines.
He said: “The only thing they are doing as far as I can see with Invictus, Prince Harry already had that. So they have not done anything, they lost Spotify. Will they lose Netflix? The contract runs out in 2025. It is rather bewildering their silence.”
Harry and Meghan signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify soon after their arrival in America after striking out on their own away from royal duties.
But their Spotify deal hit the skids last year and their Netflix partnership ends in 2025 with just two projects in the bag.
The pair attended the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in Jamaica earlier this month which raised eyebrows as they cosied up to the Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness who was at the front of a bid to rid the country of the UK monarchy.

Princess Kate's 'lengthy' hospital stay sparks concerns after 'very serious' operation
Princess Kate must have undergone a "very serious operation" during her stay in hospital, a royal commentator has claimed.
The Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic nearly two weeks ago for planned abdominal surgery and stayed there until this Monday when she was discharged and safely returned to her home in Windsor to continue her recovery until Easter.
Now a royal expert has commented on Kate's lengthy stay in hospital and said she is worried about the royal's health.
Royal biographer Angela Levin told GB News: "Nowadays people don’t keep you in hospital for very long.
"They want you to sit up very quickly and out, and particularly for someone like her who has got lots of staff and she can get nurses and doctors at the flick of a finger.
"Why did she need to spend all that time? It must have been a very serious operation and we hear that she won’t be doing any engagements until after Easter."
The expert went on to add that the Princess of Wales's lengthy recovery time is also "worrying" saying: "No one would say she should come back earlier of course, but it is a concern."
Princess Beatrice 'offering advice and comfort' to Sarah Ferguson thanks to key role
Sarah Ferguson shocked royal watchers earlier this month after her spokesperson announced that she's been diagnosed with cancer for the second time.
The announcement on January 21 said that the Duchess of York was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer, which was discovered during her treatment for breast cancer.
Now a royal commentator suggested her eldest daughter with Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice may be able to offer "advice and comfort" to her mother due to a key role she has.

Natasha Archer, 36, was one of the few who were allowed to visit the Princess of Wales, 42, in hospital and was seen leaving with her yesterday as Kate returned to Adelaide Cottage to continue her recovery from the abdominal procedure.
She has been by Kate's side for five key moments in her royal life, the birth of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, the late Queen's funeral and King Charles's Coronation.
Mother-of-two Archer is married to royal photographer Chris Jackson and has been working with Kate since 2011.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's sly dig to William with 'change to Netflix film'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are poised to make a significant alteration to their upcoming film adaptation of a best-selling novel, in a subtle jab at Prince William, a royal expert has claimed.
Netflix acquired the film rights to "Meet Me at the Lake," a romance novel penned by Carly Fortune, with the intention of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex producing the film as part of their multi-million pound agreement.
The novel narrates the tale of a couple who encountered each other in their 30s, addressing challenges parallel to those experienced by the Sussexes in their personal lives.
Now, a royal expert has claimed that the Sussexes will be making one key change when creating their adaptation of the film.
Prince Harry told to 'get over himself, you're not a victim' in scathing note from friend
Prince Harry has been told to "get over yourself, you're not a victim" in a letter from a former friend.
The Duke of Sussex was criticised for his debut memoir Spare, where he made several shocking revelations about his life in the Royal Family.
In his book, Harry spoke about the breakdown of his relationship with his brother Prince William and claimed that his father King Charles made cruel jokes. However, a former friend of Harry's has now urged him to "get over yourself" in a strong-worded letter.
Edward Charles Featherstone, a pseudonym used by Harry's former polo-playing mate, said the Duke of Sussex is "nothing like the man I met".
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's final Netflix project revealed before contract ends
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming project could be the “final” for Netflix, a PR expert has claimed.
After relinquishing their roles as working royals in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex secured a lucrative deal with the streaming giant.
Nevertheless, there has been no confirmation regarding the potential extension of their contract with Netflix beyond its current expiration date in 2025.
In the previous year, Meghan and Harry's production company acquired the rights to author Carley Fortune's book, "Meet Me at the Lake."
PR expert Lynn Carratt from Press Box stated this could be the couple's final project for Netflix as the partnership looks to be coming to an end.
Zara and Mike Tindall savaged as ex-butler says they're not 'right' fit for senior roles
Zara and Mike Tindall were savaged by an ex-royal butler who claimed they are not the "right candidates" to become senior working royals.
King Charles's slimmer monarchy became the main point of discussions recently after the latest health bombshells involving the monarch himself and Kate, the Princess of Wales, which left only a handful of royals available to carry out engagements.
But Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, dismissed any claims about Princess Anne's daughter and her husband stepping up to help the King and suggested Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice could do so instead.
Kate to 'lean on' trusted insider to allow William to be 'present father and support'
Princess Kate is likely to “lean on” her trusted nanny as she recovers from the abdominal surgery, it has been reported. Her nanny Maria Borrallo’s help is “invaluable” at this difficult time, a royal expert has said.
The Princess of Wales, 42, recently left The London Clinic after 14 days and is now back home surrounded by her husband and three doting children.
Prince William will assume extra parenting duties, adjusting his schedule by clearing it of official obligations as his wife recuperates.
However, a royal expert said that while the Princess of Wales is a “hands-on mother” but will be required to “rest as much as she can” and Maria's contribution will be important so William can resume royal duties.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are 'a danger' to King Charles as he recovers from surgery
"This has been a highly unfortunate start to the year for the Royal Family. The announcement that the Princess of Wales underwent “planned abdominal surgery” and would take some weeks to recover, was instantly followed by the news that King Charles would be undergoing an operation for an enlarged prostrate.
Prince William did not undertake royal engagements whilst Catherine is in hospital and during her early convalescence, he will be with her as much as possible.
It is also unique that both the King and Catherine were in the same hospital, the London Clinic, at the same time. However, the statement from the Palace, which shared the details of the King’s condition, has led to greatly increased public awareness of it. This example of how useful a royal intervention will almost certainly save lives.
It is sobering to reflect that a decade ago the royals carried out 4,000 engagements but last year it was only 2,270. Only four working royals are under 70 and the declining charitable reach of the Royal Family will considerably affect the strength of their brand.
It was high time that the number of Counsellors of State, who can act in the King’s incapacity or absence abroad, was increased and this has now been done. Harry, Andrew and Beatrice remain on the list but, since they are not working royals, they will not be called upon in any circumstances."

King Charles 'will abdicate in 10 years time' as he feels he's 'done enough' for Firm
King Charles has a "10-year plan" after which he will abdicate feeling like he's "done enough", a former royal butler has claimed.
Princess Diana's ex-butler, Paul Burrell, added that the monarch is currently "buying time" for his eldest son, Prince William before making way for him on the throne.
Speaking on behalf of Slingo, the former royal butler said: "I think it [an abdication] will happen in this country.
"I think the King and Queen have given this job ten years, I think this is a 10-year plan. Since the beginning, I have thought that the King is buying William time and in 10 years the King will be in his mid-80s."

Meghan Markle is "hyper-concerned" about their finances and fears “losing everything”, as the Sussexes' production company faced a recent setback.
The Duchess of Sussex has recently encountered various career challenges, with their £19million Spotify deal abruptly ending last year after producing only a few episodes of a standalone podcast.
With the news of the manager of Archewell Productions leaving for a new position, it is alleged that the couple has "blown through so much money," leaving Meghan deeply worried.
An insider told Closer Magazine: "Meghan is hyper-concerned about money, rightfully so, given their extravagant spending and lower-than-expected earnings.
"The situation is particularly daunting this time, as they have rapidly depleted their funds and are not as financially secure as they once were. Meghan is taking charge, but it may be too little too late."
