During a trip to Bath in 2014, Prince Edward proved he could still make his wife Sophie roar with laughter.

They may be best known for quietly getting on with their jobs as senior royals, but Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie of Edinburgh proved they can still have a laugh with each other on royal outings.
Back in May 2014, when they were still Earl and Countess of Wessex, the couple visited the Roman Baths at Bath Abbey, where Sophie enjoyed a sip of the famous drinking water.
The city of Bath came into existence in 863 BC after the discovery of hot springs in the area, and the water was rumoured to have healing properties.
At one point during the visit Sophie took a sip of the water, and turned to tell her husband: "Yummy." Edward then made a quick-witted six-word reply, and said: "You look a lot younger already."
In response the Duchess burst out laughing, with one fan account on X praising Edward's "dad jokes", with another royal watcher claiming the water tastes "disgusting" and Sophie's face "said it all".

Edward and Sophie tied the knot in June 1999, before welcoming their children Lady Louise and James, now-Earl of Wessex in November 2003 and December 2007 respectively.
The couple held the titles Earl and Countess of Wessex until the death of Queen Elizabeth, when they inherited the titles Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, with James inheriting his father's title.
The previous Duke of Edinburgh, the late Prince Philip, made clear his wish that Edward and Sophie have his title just after they announced their engagement.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: "Sophie was close to the Queen. Both she and her husband Edward are attached to some 70 patronages and she undertakes some 200 engagements a year.
"She especially supports charities which help those with learning disabilities and the visually impaired as well as agricultural charities.
"It is likely that she and Edward will be carrying out more engagements in future and may take on more patronages, as the Queen and Prince Philip were attached to so many institutions."
Despite their young age, Louise and James have already been tipped for major roles in the Firm in their future, but for now they are still finishing their education.
James is just 16 and is still at school finishing his GCSEs, while his older sister is in her second year at St Andrews University studying English Literature.
St Andrews is also where Prince William and Princess Kate studied and where their royal romance first began, as documented in the final season of The Crown.
